Never a dull moment in my family

I get home tonight around 10:30 and my uncle who is living with us now asks me if I heard anything about what went on. I told him that i had no clue. He said that "the dog" attacked my aunt, uncle and cousin. At this point im thinking of my dog. I was like "no f-ing way.... jack bit someone?!" He said no... my aunts dog. I all of sudden was like "OOO ****" My aunt has a 120 lb American Bulldog. I never trusted that dog before cause I always got weird vibes from him. So my uncle got bite in his arm, hand, and ass (lol). My aunt got bit in her hand and it removed some skin, and my cousin get bit in the hand too. Needless to say they are pretty lucky. They got it calmed down somehow enough to get in its cage and they locked it up. Tomorrow me and my dad are gonna take it over to the vet to be put down. Im praying we don't have to put him down ourselves tomorrow.

your not going to un-train a bull dog. Its not a dog that u can do that with. My aunt and uncle are fine now. uncle has a bit of stitching and so does my aunt.... They got the dog when he was 2. They adopted him. he is now 5. We don't want to have another family deal with this. Imagine someone adopts him that has a little kid or something. You can't take that kind of chance with that dog. This is a dog that has the abilty to break bones simply from biting you.

Unfortunately, beating an agressive dog till it respects you is going to do nothing but make the problem worse. The dog probably has some anxiety issues and no proper training. It's ashame that it has to come to putting the dog down, but at this point it's best for everyone. Could you imagine if this wasn't a family member and it was someone on the street? Not only would the dog be put down, but the family could be charged.

thats why you beat them when their younger so they dont make these mistakes, but the problem was they adopted when he was 2 so he already had these bad habits.

yeah, sad thing about dogs... once they bite a human... they're more than likely going to do it again.

Usually from improper training and discipline... but sometimes its just the dog...

Where did they adopt him from? Arent they required to return him? (If it was from a shelter or rescue?)

idk..I'd like to know more about the situation in which the dog bit them.

well they are taking him as i speak. They are taking him down to the SPCA down on Erie ave. You can't just put a dog down right away anymore. Theres a whole bunch of BS involved but it takes 10 days.

Justin.... english bulldogs are cool as hell. Too bad this was a American Bulldog.

And Alex.... That is hilarious. My own security system haha. How about i keep him in the civic full-time. That would never be stolen.

I also blame training completly... Not a question in my mind. I even told them that and they got mad at me. Well i never trusted both the dogs they had. My family has two of the best dogs we have ever had. So much personality in both of them. Alex can back this up. Its ashame that the dog wasn't trained cause it was a great looking dog.

My neighbor has one and he is super nice, sweet and clam. That really is ashame that he has to be put down. They probably got upset with you when you said that about the training because they know you're right. Poor dog.

pretty much but i don't care. It is the truth. I don't cut my family any slack. I still will say what needs to be said, so long as it is the truth. The truth hurts.

If thats him its a shame i would love to take him off there hands and try and give it some discipline...but with the baby i couldnt take that chance....let alone if he bit her he would be buried in the back yard with a .357 round in his ass.
