Any one know anything about this civic?

Ive been looking for a fun car to finish off school and not give me to many problems for the next few years, ive been looking at these and the new mustangs, but since i can tell some one had a hand in this i wanted to know if any one knows anything about it, from what i can see the last owner swaped the honda badges, exhaust, theres a some suspension brace on the rear underneath(im not really a honda guy so im not sure is "name"), yellow fogs and im not sure is the valve cover comes in red from the factory. So any input would be great, thanks

Awesome shape.

Great car.

What are you planning on "accomplishing" with this new "project"?

well i wanted an STI and my mom will be paying for it while im in my last two semesters of school( i can't juggle 15/18 credit semes. + playing ice hockey and get a job) and she couldn't afford that for me. I still want to take out a new mustang gt, but if i get that civic, nothing really. i think that one, the exhaust sounds great, quiet, yet great sounds. just really get it tinted and thats about it and may be an intake to hear that thing scream, like i said im not really a honda guy, i like them alot but i don't have the honda bug and feel the need to get the jdm craziness like some people or do some motor swap or turbo, but diff strokes for diff folks i dont have anything neg towards those guys. This would be a DD for a while, The toys will come once i graduate.

honestly... if you don't want a car and know you would rather have something else... get something else... however if you do actually want the honda... that looks like a nice one to me...

I like the car alot, it's just I can't afford what I want. So no big deal I'm not dropong down to a neon level haha. I like the car alot and yes it's very clean and I was suprised how much power it had what what it was. If I can't find a decent mustang I may be a new owner of a SI. I gotta do some home work on clean mods a side from what you guys posted.

You will be happier with the Honda, I work for Ford, the newer Mustangs are nice. However, heavy and the 300hp, doesn't really feel all the lively. The Civic will outhandle a stock Mustang GT anyday, it's also world's more fuel efficient and has a better build.

EDIT: I've also driven this body style SI and loved it for what it was, personally would buy it myself, especially one that clean.

i like it it looks really clean. actually i dont know your budget but i was just surfing around yesterday and saw a Mugen SI for $23k. i like them also, and the lip kit wheels and suspension would be taken car of for the most part. i know its considerably more than 18k, but i mean i dont have 18 or 23 so its all about your preference man. and im sorry i dont know where it was, but im sure if you just look around like i was youll stumble onto one.

whoever would swap out a k20z3 is crazy. this civic is the best thing so far. actually feels like a real car to drive from the factory. get it, dump it, hfp lip kit, header/test pipe/intake/reflash and that thing will be sick. those badges are the ctr from japan

never made a recall but a tsb. many people experienced 3rd gear popping out and need syncro replaced on 06-07s and some 08s.

They're great cars, a lot of fun to drive with some spunk behind it but nothing crazy.
