the OFFICIAL getting your haircut thread (just for Nick)

do you prefer a man or a woman to do it?

for me... its pretty awesome if its a hot chick running her hands through my hair and putting her boobs in my face to get a bigger tip (lol i'll give her a bigger tip)

but i prefer a guy to cut my hair... its the only time i want a gay guy with his hands on my head. (no homo) They know men's hair better than a woman, and they understand men's style better than a woman

I've cut my own hair for the past 5 years. Looks just as good and only cost me a $50-60 sunk cost.

i get my hair cut by the Asian's on Kensington Ave for 7 bucks. Most salon's that charge $20 can't even do a plain old fade. I went to so many different places when I moved to the northeast and they all butchered me. So now I go to the ave on my lunch breaks every 2 weeks since I work in Olde City.

At this place, i go to both men and women...only a few I'll let cut my hair though.

I'm guessing this thread is directed towards guys?

I've only ever had my hair cut by women, so I don't really have an opinion on it. But, I wouldn't mind having a man cut my hair.

There's a place on main street in manayunk, forget the name, maybe "the men's room" where they have the most gorgeous women cut your hair. It's like 35 for a cut, but so worth it.

I'll have to check that out. I live in far northeast now, by Southampton and the Blvd. I went to 2 local barber shops up, and Supercuts...and none of them could give me the style i wanted. It's not like it's a weird style. And they charged it up on top of a bad hair cut. But hell, Knorr and Brous, is closer than going down the way. I'll check them out.

I used to go to the hair cuttery in Feasterville, and there was this HUGE ugly bitch that was the hair wash girl. She was the best hair washer ever.

I agree 100%. no homo.

But now I shave my head, and I do it myself, so I guess my opinion on haircuts doesn't much matter anymore.

i get a fade, 0 on the sides and a 4 on top, the thing is 8/10 times they cant ****ing cut it right, i usually go to the 20 dollar places and as soon as they start i can tell when they are gonna **** up or not. i was gonna make one of these threads to see who knows people who can cut the simplest hair cut without failing. usually they fade it so u can see a line, or they fade it too high, or they dont cut it even

since i hate getting a ****ed up hair cut i usually just shave it every month, saves money too. i think next wednsday im going to get a hair cut, any suggestions?

i also dont care if a guy or girl cuts it, they have their ups and downs, the best part of a hair cut is getting it shampooed afterwards

Man I so knew you would rather have a man all over you. You make it so easy for me to call you gay. I don't even care if you called no homo, its a cover up!

LOL anyway, I'd rather a girl cut my hair. In my area it seems to be hard to find someone that can do a simple ceasar cut or whatever its called and I found that holiday hair seems to do my right almost every time I go there, sometimes I have to ask the to go a bit shorter but thats about it.

a 0 fade is not easy. ****, a 1 fade is not easy. However 2+ is simple.
