400+whp roots charged B-series Honda......lol wut?

Yeah when I first came across this on honda-tech today i was like LOL WUT since we all know its basically impossible to have a big enough SC on a civic/integra due to the position of the intake manifold.

Well this guy took a m90 charger from a T-bird, reversed it and mounted it on the front of the block under the header before the TB. I was generally very impressed by this as it is something that has only been scratched at the surface until now. He is making 329 whp with it now at only 11psi while seeing IAT's around 98 degrees, and is still working out some bugs. He engineered the pulleys to be able to make around 18psi. This thing is a torque monster and is very good at eating trannys. It still looks a little rough under the hood, but what can you expect with something that is still in its fabrication/tuning stage.

I'm impressed. For being a "rough draft" it looks great. I'm sure after he gets everything sorted it out, and tucks that bay, it'll be near phenominal.

The video is just the car sitting at idle and reving it up a bit. It sounds amazing when reved. And just idling it has this strange 'dont **** with me' sound.

If I know RMC, he will not do anything to make that bay look any nicer. Just the way he is. Damn cool setup though.

That sucks, I would love to get my paws into that engine bay and clean it up for crying out loud. And yeah, this set up is solid!!

Yeah its kinda solid. Like I said he is still working a few bugs out. If you read the thread on H-T you'll see he seized up the SC when he first tried to turn the boost up due to super heated IAC's due to a ****ty ebay fmic. He also had to add a second divertor valve because it was making 4psi at idle. I really like how he can control boost pressures without changing pulleys with his wastegate setup on the charge pipe.

That's not even that bad, you should have seen his dual charged car. 350whp with a dead flat torque curve but his engine bay was just ugly as sin haha. Hell, he has mold growing on the roof of his car! He just makes his stuff work and work well without breaking the bank, which is fine with me.

Anyone have the video of this car in another format? It wont load for me..

I’m slowly reading the post (short attention span) and this dude needs to be working for skunk or full race (I'll be the guy that cleans everything up after install ha!)

SC Hondas is something I've never really looked into because it was so limited power wise and poor cooling do to how it needs to be set up. This guy hopefully 100% follows threw with this and puts it to market. I love how he uses a wastegate to control the air as opposed to exhaust. That 4 psi at idle is great and like how he dealt with it. I prob would of spent years trying to figure out how to hook up some sort of clutch to it making it work like a clutch fan but for the charger (and I would of gave up)
