unmarked cop car

question for you, can an unmarked cop car write you tickets? I hear something that they must have a municipal plate on in order to do this. how true is this?

Not true, an officer can write you a summons from his own car if he had too. A police vehicle does not need to be "marked" but its better if it is in my opinion.
