out of curiosity. i have a 1952 Ford ratrod/hotrod that im doing, i have to get drivers and rear driver 1/4 glass cut, but i wanted to drive the car for a while till i had the money to get it done. is it leagal to to drive a car without side glass. is it leagal to drive a car with no interior, i have the bench seat and ill have a dash with workin guages, but no door panels or rear seat and can it be inspected that way ?

are back up lights on a car a must ?? my 52 didnt come equiped with them from factory

if the vehicle is registered, inspected and insured I can't find any law in NJ that you are violating. As far as the glass are you saying you have no windows?

i have a windshiled and rear window in it , just not the side windows

Does it look like the windows are rolled down?

yeah, its cool cuz in those cars the 2 door sedans had roll down 1/4 panel glass

I can't see how any one would know. But I can't find a violation other then unsafe vehicle since it would not pass inpection like this..by you would have to be a real butt for the officer to dig that deep for a summons.
