Well done video but that was pretty lame, I was expecting some sliding or at least a launch

A launch would've been fun to shoot. Sliding wouldn't have been awesome unless he went all out, and that wasn't happening haha but thanks man!

well, not many people get to say they parked on a skating rink. expected a little more fun. though, not sure i'd chance having fun on ice with walls on every side myself.

i really like this car.

I definitely wasn't going to risk anything on the ice, I still had summer tires on and the rink is surprisingly tight with a car.

Nice vid of a car that spends its time like that, I want to love it as evos are one of my favorite cars but airbags and performance awd don't belong together

Why not? Why settle for one kind or the other if you can do both at the same time?

Meh lol, it's going through some changes. I'm trying to work on a quick switch system and have a show front bumper and trunk. Then have a race ready bumper and trunk I don't mind beating it up. I know I've said it for 3 years since I've owned the car but I want to race it at some point. I now don't have to work on the weekends anymore so I actually have time to go. It's all hollow words at this point until I go, I know that. But after seeing it up on the dyno and seeing it's potential, it made me a little power hungry

Agree'd.

Also I never understood stancing the car out and stretching the tires, that does dramatically reduce the handling capabilities of this car correct? Do aig bags also ruin the handling aspects of the car? I LOVE the look of air bags, but if it ruins anything performance wise I would rather go low on coilovers.

Actually, air systems have been proven to be superior to the oil-based dampers we use today. Porsche did a bunch of testing with it and the "air" car with the same driver, track, conditions, etc. and it beat the the "traditional" suspension car every time. There's also a MINI race team out there that uses are and dominates with it. Instant adjustments in a corner, instant corner-balancing, adjustable ride height, largely adjustable "spring rates".....all are benefits of the system, but cost was always prohibitive. That said, an effective and "proper" air system will still cost about 3K with management, and systems like the one currently on the car would not likely be able to handle the load.

Thats actually really cool and relieving to see that air bag systems won't affect a cars handling, and may even improve it! I've always been a fan of bags.

I still wonder about cars with extreme camber and really stretched out tires.

I am currently looking for a set of wheels I can use if I race it, something along the 17" so I can fit bigger tires.
