Just talked to the guy who bought my traded in STI!

So this is cool... I just talked to the guy who works at John Kennedy Subaru and bought my 04 STi which I traded in! I won't mention his name however he did say he'll look into joining TST since his friends are on it.

He mentioned the Exton meets are near him... I may drive up and check out that meet.

Anyway, if you see a new guy join TST with a blue STI... say hi

How many people talk to the people who buy their old cars? It is kinda cool to keep tabs on the old ride... almost like finding out how your kid is doing

Haven't had to sell my turd yet so I haven't had to keep tabs. When I did buy the car the kid who was like 25ish almost cried. I felt bad but I still give him little updates and pics here and there. He wants to buy it back so bad and he said he has regretted it since the day he sold it to me. He did say he trusted me alot with it though.

Sometimes thats cool to meet the person who bought your car but most times it ends up when you sell a modified car to someone who doesnt know its history, any little problem or quirk gets you a phone call. I would rather not know who has my car or where it is.

Infact, if I ever trade my car in I would hope it went right to auction and sent to new york lol

Yup, I once a car is out of my ownership I do not want to know anything about it anymore, lol.

I know the person who has my old Cavalier.... still running, 6 years after I got rid of it.

New owner installed a new heater core, fixed the CV axle, and installed a new H.U. Actually talked to him before about a couple repairs that he had to do.

I'm in touch with the previous owner of my VW. Give him updates on its autox results every so often. Also in touch with the original owner of my SHO (before it was totaled and sent to auction) and got a lot of good information out of him regarding preventative maint (these cars are a bitch with unknown histories) I don't have to bother with. Saved me a bit of money.

Two of my cars I've sold to two brothers at the same time, both ended up crashing them. I regret ever selling them even if they were just your run of the mill DSM.

I sort of talk to the person that bought my car after I traded it in, and I know the previous owner of my Z personally.

The only car that is out of my hands that I have owned, is the 240, and i would LOVE to know where she is at (she got totaled)

However, still have the Galant, will have the Fusion for a long time.

A couple cars...my old 60th anniversay jeep was turned into a trail rig with 36" tires and over 6" of lift. My old cobra was tottaled in less than 3 weeks by it's new owner. Note.....do not buy a 500rwhp car as your first fast car!
