i got painted on 378 by a state cop
said i was doing 80 in a 55 which is 4 points
i can honestly say i was speeding but when i looked at my speedometer it said 75 cause i saw the car parked up on the embankment

should i bother going to court ? it was on my sport bike i havn't had a ticket in like 4 years and don't want to get the points don't mind the fine but the points suck

The worst than can happen if you go to court is you have to pay the current issued citation.

like oh well you get the speeding ticket and now we'll add careless driving ?

NO you are only charged with the one violation.
