Precision Dyno Tuned!

Finished up tunning my evo today!! i had the ems originally tuned at turbo trix (dynojet) about 2 months ago and my 1st pull on the awd mustang dyno the other day said i put 294whp and 270 some odd torque.... Nick from Precision Dyno Tuning told me there was more in it... so after the dyno today i gained 42whp and 33 trq. I was totally blown away by the increase!! the car is insane... no doubt in my mind 11.7 -11.8 trapping 116-118. All stock block, turbo, upper pipe, manifolds.

notice how smooth Precision dyno a/f curve is..(black line)

me vs. stock evo ems tuned

final pull

I understand it's a msutang dyno, but how in the hell will you run an 11.7 with only 332awhp? How much does your car weigh? Looks like precision does nice work. I was a few miles from their shop today.

well i ran 12.2@112 bfore the tune.... i gained 42whp and 33trq... i think high 11s are obtainable.... i put out 373whp 360trq on a dynojet then only 294 on mustang dyno so after tune 330whp on mustangdyno has to be over 400 on dynojet.

Why won't they tune UTEC's? I don't feel like going all the way to Edison to get tuned.

Nice numbers by the way, now I'll never catch up.

From what I hear. I can't afford a standalone, either.

The mustang produces more realistic numbers right?

The mustang typically reads significantly lower than any other dyno. I don't know if I'd call them more realistic.

They are much more accurate and realistic to what is being put down to the pavement
They simulate actual road load and conditions. They do not rely on the inertia produced from a large drum to calculate HP and Torque.

Bingo I've read so many "dynojet vs mustang" threads lately I don't know if I can take anymore.

mustang and DD also tend to read substantially less. Im not into "dyno math" but justins on the track... speaking of which GOOD LUCK getting those 11's on thurs.
