a stupid question not car related

ok with the recent death of another officer im really getting annoyed with this thought i have and heard from other people
it pisses me off that philly cops literlally put their lives at risk everyfreakin day and get paid less than the cops in bensalem or south hampton county that dont do jack SH!T but issue tickets for tint and the most action i ever saw them have is shutting down a house party with illegal underage drinking
is this true or jus rumors i dont mean to sound like a asshole but one of my friends bought it up today when we were talkin about yesterdays incident
and not just bensalem county and south hampton county but other suburbian countys surrounding philly

Thank you for your suport and sympathy for the tragic murder of Officer Patrick MacDonald. Wages for police officers in The City of Philadelphia, are based on tax revenues and state and Federal aid. Philadelphia police officers should be making as much as their suburban counterparts. But its up to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to do this and saddly they do not.
