Blew it up...many mods to come...Many pics On Page 2

Hi, this is my car. It's given me problems and I've given it love. Things break then get upgraded or rebuilt in my case. I picked it up last summer and it sat in front of a paint shop for 2 and 1/2 months till i took it to maaco. I love my car, and enjoy working on it.

Some pics from the week i got it.

Then my turbo seized up and i had to pull my motor.

The turbo got back, put the motor back in, and i got some goodies. Got a hallman mbc and a boost gauge. It was done in time for the Highschool Challenge at maple grove. My first pass ever i bogged it and ran a 15.3 at like 90 somthing-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WI0X8...e=channel_page My second pass i ran a 14.9 at 84 mph, i had no forth gear because my slave cylinder took a **** had to drive home with no clutch. The vid-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISeC7...e=channel_page This pass was at an unsafe 15psi and was the cause of my turbo's seal going. So the motor had to be pulled again.

Side shot on the lift.

Pic of the boost gauge. Gotta tuck those wires.

Pic of me on the way to the Tuesday night Oaks meet. Literally 2 miles up the road is where my turbo went and started blowing out white smoke.

Hopefully it will be done in a week or two. I’m just waiting for the turbo to get back and some other parts. This car has been in my shop more then I have been driving it.

Gotta love a clean turbo z31.

My g/f would be extremely jealous of yours, her 85 got totaled about 2-3 months ago.

Blown turbo is an excellent excuse to upgrade :P

I have always had a thing for these cars. First time i ever seen one (it was brand new then) up close - i got in and a woman started telling me "door is ajar".

Blew my mind (i was like ten or something) - since that day i was a fan. Does yours talk like that - or was that an option or something?

The voice warning system was on 84-86 cars only. 87-89 did not have it.

Original poster, stop running 15 psi unintercooled on a stupid t25
The T25 is good for about 10 psi. No point in running higher than that.

I knows. 15 psi was only once at the track. Every other time was at 10 psi.

I would get an intercooler for it, even if it is just an eBay one. It will keep everything MUCH MUCH cooler
