STi DCCD setting for Auto-x

I plan on racing my car for the first time in Warminster on Nov 6th, and would like to know how other STi owners have their cars set up. Does anyone with (or without) a STi know what DCCD setting would work best for auto-x? Also, I read that you should inflate your tire pressure 7-8 psi higher than normal, so is 44 in the front and 40 in the back ok, or would you go higher/lower? Thanks in advance for your help.

i dont know from experience, but i think you should leave the DCCD in auto... it works quite well that way from what i hear.
as far as tire pressures, i've always stuck around 40psi on my 225/45/17s... but i do keep the rears a little higher than the fronts so they will break loose slightly easier and encourage less understeer, more oversteer.

I keep it in auto a few times i have tried to flip it on and leave the dial at rear... but i am not that good and honestly it is easier to predict the car in auto in my opion.

i use to run mine at full rear for autox and drag... once i ran with and without and the difference is so small it could be made up with better driving.

I havent autox'd my STi yet, but from what i have seen on other forums, most people dont ever touch their DCCD, they just keep it on auto at all times.

I usually run about 42 in the front and 38-40 in the rear. A little more in the front always helps.
