Ok I bought two older nissan pickups, one came with a title the other didnt.

The idea is too take two shot trucks and make one good one, the one with a title has a rotted cab and bed, the title-less one has a broken frame.

My question is if I swap the cabs over what do I do about the vin numbers and titles since the good cab does not have a title? I was goin to swap the vin plates from the rotted cab to the solid one then cutting up whatever is left.

Is this illegal? If it is what steps can I take to do it legally?

You ask a good question. Since its not really a law enforcement one. That is untill you get stopped by an officer. I would have tell you contact PennDOT for the answer I really don't know what else to tell you.
