Trouble with Ripp headers

I know this isnt a eclipse site but somebody may be able to help me out because i would like to get this solved as asap. After a four day install of them (dont ask lol), re-wiring twice, replacing 2 o2s, i had a technician look at it i am still throwing codes. Somebody help me out because i am about to rip them off and sell them.

P0174 system to lean bank one
P0159 02 sensor slow response slow bank 2 sensor 2
P0171 system to lean bank two

I originally go both the lean codes before, I discussed with a tech and he said the two front o2s are shot. So replaced those but that is not the problem. Now this sensor 2 to slow thing is new to me.

When you extended the wires, did you be sure to do them one wire at a time so you didn't cross wire anything? I know I didn't throw codes like that with *just* the Ripp headers on.

one wire and one sensor at a time. They were soldered and had shrink tube too.

That's really odd. I'd say post at the rippmods.com forums and call their tech line tomorrow during business hours.

A slow response code is usually the result of a faulty cat, or of an 02 sensor that is on it's way out. The ECU is looking for 8 voltage changes in 10 seconds at 2000 RPM to determine if the o2 sensors are good.

If you are lean bank one and two, it's not the rear 02 sensor though. Do you have an aftermarket intake? This could cause a lean condition.
Also make sure all your connections are tight at the MAF/IAT. It definately sounds like you have a problem with how much fuel your engine thinks it sees.

The conections are good because i went over it twice and so did a tech. No aftermarket intake because i was planning on boosting it.

Did you use the proper gauge wire? I have heard of people having issues from using skinny ass wires.

I used either 16 or 18 gauge automotive wire. I searched on 3g.com and a couple members said that 21 gauge is included but you should bump it up to 18.

I was thinking more like 12-14. I think that's what we used on mine.
