Last upgrade of the year... brakes

Alright well. It doesn't feel like it, but the first year of owning my car is over already and I'm ready to put my mod bug to sleep until the spring. But only after I put on some new brakes.

Right now I'm running some not so good Wagner rotors haha. I have EBC Green stuff pads in the front and some generics out back. The rotors have begun to show the blue ring on the outter edge, which means they don't like my driving.

So in that case. I want a little bit of an upgrade. I'm thinking slotted rotors, but the only brand that I have experience with is Power Slot on my friends gfs Civic Si. They seem to work GREAT, but I wanted to see if there was anyone on here that had anything to say about other brands.

I don't know much about brakes. I just know that OEM replacements aren't going to cut it since the rotors I have on now only lasted me a year and they are already on their way out.

Any help is appreciated. Pad recommendations are welcome too. I love the green stuff pads, but Im open for suggestions. I guess I should also say that it needs to be a "budget" setup, because I dunno about you guys but I'm not rolling in money these days.
