I would rather gouge my eyeballs out with my bare hands then go to a meet held by street trenz

What time did you show up? A little more was there than Diverse when I showed up...I got there around 7:45...The party in the pub was pretty cool. People had a good time. All together I'd say about 20 or so rides..Not bad for a first time meet. But Just like everything else in Delaware, the car scene around here is crazy slow because people refuse to get a long and support...Our state is too small for all that hating non-sense. THANK GOD we have cool neighboring states like Jersey, Pa, and Maryland that knows how to keep the tuner/custom auto scene hot. They have their inner-state beefs too, but they seem to get past the childish BullSh**t when it comes to keeping the car sene at the levels it should be within their states.

I was there from about 7 till 9ish, I didn't go in for the contest though. I was the blue cav sitting down a couple spots from the diverse cars.

Okay, cool...When I finally got there I parked in the row across from ya (The Silver Strat R/T...Red Dodge/Falken Logos)...If word spreads and people just come out to hang instead of worrying about who's throwing the meet, its a pretty good spot to help out the slow Delaware scene.

Yeah I tried telling people, some members from scikotics showed up and saw that it wasn't a big turnout and they left. I was kind of dissapointed, but the challenger SRT-8 more than made up for it in my book.

The problem with the tuner scene in DE is that there are way too many haters and its not going to change any time soon

Yeah this is a fairly true statement. It sucks though because there are some nice cars here in DE.

yea, i know alot of guys that wont come out for any car shows or meets because they hate on anything that isn't american muscle. i'm into all types of cars, so i enjoy going to all the local car shows and meets. unfortunately, i am unable to show up at the Street Trenz stuff because they hold it on a thursday night, usually in Elkton and i have to work the next day. but if they are going to start having it at Thurston's.... i'll start showing up.

It seems like in delaware it's every person for themselves. Not many people seem to get along in delaware, I guess it seems like alot of people think that their cars are better than everyone elses. I wish that we could get some more instate car shows going on in delaware with some nice quality cars. If people could just learn to respect everyones work no matter what the car is then it would be a lot different. I enjoy checking out different cars and trucks old and new.

Yeah, its just a Stupid, immature shame. Well, just to let you know my team and myself have never and will never think that way. Its funny that we go against the grain by simply getting along with EVERYONE that shares this great lifestyle we're all involved in. Once most of the car peeps in Delaware grow up and realize that...The scene here will be a lot better. Ever notice the meets the old school muscle, classic, and hot rod enthusiasts have here in delaware. They're meets are HUGE!..HeII, the one they have in the Fox Run Shopping center packs 80 to 100 rides. Their meets are bigger than most of our car shows! They're all there chilling, hanging out, and admiring the work of their peers. Its like a big custom car party. Even if they don't like the work of their peers, they still admire their peers because they're all in the SAME lifestyle. This is one time were the import/tuner crowd should definitely take a page out of its elder's book.
