If you have any questions about laws and how they pertain to you, this is the place to ask. However, this is not a place to get advice on a situation.
Sarge also doesn't respond quickly unless you get lucky, so it looks like you'll have to just go in and see what happens with this one.
Good luck...

thanks bryan sorry i just was seeing if there was any advice or anything...they ended up just hitting me with a huge sppeding ticket with 5 points and court. So i got off easier than it could have been. They showed me the video of it from the dash cam and after the officer pulled out i was off the street so the running from the cops thing they wanted to arrest me for kinda went out the window since i never saw him. but anyway thanks.

did they have your license plate number? i'm interested to ask sarge a question here... if a cop sees a blue sti speeding by and then the car goes out of sight. cop finds a car he thinks is the same one parked in a driveway, off, no driver in sight. is there any legitimate legal recourse there? is there a way for the cop to prove it was the same car, or to identify the driver, and does the court require proof like this?

no no license plate number but they found the car and on video they showed me checked if it was still hot from running and then asked people working on the house next door if someone just pulled in you can see on the video that when he pulled out i was not even on the street anymore i had already turned into my neighborhood to loop back home...then they preceded to knocking on my door and talking to my mom who was home she called me and then the officer talked to me on the phone told me they could arrest me...but said i had to go to the station when i was done work...they asked my mom permission to search my car becuase since they said i ran from them usually i was trying to hide something and to check if my story about not having enough gas to get to work was true which it was and that is why i had been going fast in the first place cause i was already running late and had to looped around my neighborhood to switch cars cause i had not been driving it alot casue of driving my bike but my license plate got stolen on tuesday and i had to drive the car so i didnt realize i was on empty but figured it be quicker doping that then stopping for money and then gas.

OK 1st off sorry I didn't get to this soon but I was away for a few days. To answer Trolls question the officer will have to prove that yes this is the car and or driver involved. If they ask you like they did in this case and you say "yes thats me". Well case closed. Don't feel bad in this case the video would be good in court anyway.
