So this xB came into work the other day, complaining of no power window on one side, and intermittant on the other. It was lowered on springs, and the interior was stripped. Needless to say, we declined his request for warranty work, since he BUTCHERED the wiring for the door releases.
Anyway, he came in again to get the window motors replaced, but this time he was on airbags. And while I respect his trying to be a little different, the execution was horrible. The bodywork is seriously horrible. The paint is peeling due to poor prep, the "bodywork" is cracking and breaking. The drop is causing the bumper to push away from the body. Just not a good job.

The plate did make me laugh though:

Not directly to me, but in a nutshell, yes. That box is teh haxored!!

I work at a Toyota/Scion dealer in NJ.

Love the plate! Looks good in the photo.

There is this one in the berlin area the tryed to race my RST ( LOL ) It was so loud I could no longer hear my car (with the wastegate open) and his plate is molded at like 45degs. It's Silver with gauges out the ass.

Hahaha Backyard wiring is never a good thing!

By the way it does look nice from the pics...shame he didn't do everything right!

The crappy camera phone pics don't show ANY of the imperfections. There are flaws and waves where there shouldn't be any bodywork.

That same guy is on club3g.com. From what iunderstand he put extensive mods in his eclipse, from what i heard it was execelent work, then sold it for a xb. I guess he was not to good after all

So it is.

I am not knocking the idea by any means, just the craftsmanship. I think a little more thought and prep would have yielded a better end result. It looks like it was rushed.

I do like the painted taillights.
