the "i'm going to jail special"

OK guys and gals incase you didnt know i have been looking for a new bike for a while now! just didnt feel like spending 8000 on one right now. I mean i had 8000 but i was dead set on spending 7200 on a bike and using the rest to dress it up insure, register, tax and title all that jazz! So i have been looking for one bike and one bike only! 04-06 yamaha R1 Raven edition! i didn't want anything else but that. So the best i found was one dressed up for 7700 i talked him down to 7300 really close to what i wanted to spend so i said i could live with that. the only think i would of changed was the exhaust because it was loud and nasty! so i went to go see the bike and loved it! told him let me go home and tell the wife about it then we will swing down together and buy it. He said sounds good. wife got home i told her and she was happy with the price.

So i called the dude back and told him i am going to the bank to take out the money, so get the title ready. then it went down hill!
bike owner "Ummm yeah thats the problem. i don't have the title!'
me "what? then how are you goign to sell it with no title?"
bike owner"well you can take the bike and i will send it to you when it gets here"
me "when you get the title call me and i will go get it"

So now its going on two weeks. i called him on tuesday and asked if he got the title yet he tells me no. so i said screw it let me start searching again and then i found it! "the i'm going to jail special" i said let me looking in the sticks of ny to see if anyone has one! 05 raven with 6000 miles on it for 6500! now i was like is this a scam? well he has two phone numbers on the listing and he said MUST SELL! so i called it was a HILL BILLY! ( i thought i was talking to james again ;) ) so i told him aight i am going to your place tomorrow morning with cash!

so my wife my brother and myself go up there ( i bought the mucsle incase there was going to be a brawl..lol) we get there and man talk about in the stick it was no joke! so he takes us to the garage and in the corner i see a cover with stuff around it! he starts to take the bike out and i heard a nice little rubbing sound and i said well thats going to cost you 200 bucks and he shook his head and said "damn it yeah it is" he scuffed the top of the fairing. it started right up ran perfect he pulled out the title i pulled out $6300 we did the paper work and i now own an 05 Yamaha R1 Raven edition! the reason why i got it so cheap is because the dude was in jail. The woman that was there was the wife of the dude in jail and they needed money to pay the morgage while he was locked up! and they had a little girl to take care of! she was a cute little girl i felt bad but after i paid for the bike i felt like i did a good thing to help out a family ( yeah right i got a dirt cheap bike in great shape screw them....lol) i will post pics later!!

Crackhead/hillbilly deals FTW! I was going to buy S5 kouki tails for my vert from this dude for 200, he needed money bad(read as I need to buy some rocks yo), he owed me 80 for a set of TII calipers. Went up there to buy the lights and homie ended up selling me his whole S5 vert parts car for 300-80 owed =220 for a s5 vert with mint tails and other **** that I parted out for more than 1000.

LOL nice! so you still have those s5 vert tail lights ;) i need the center part..lol that a great deal i know if i wanted to i could fix up the scuff and sell the bike for 8000 and have a hell of a flip!
