What is the best live performing artist/band?

I watched Coldplay perform live at the Home Depot Center (July 18, 2009) and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater (July 19, 2009). They were the best performing band I have ever seen. They had the crowd totally engaged. My cousin is not a Coldplay fan, but he truly enjoyed every second of it.

The Dead are fun to see too, but not as great as the Grateful dead used to be, and nowhere near the energy of Phish.

You haven't really lived until you've been to a Phish show!

they're doing crue fest now... i think that is now yearly... and they are well worth the money to see. Though, they tamed it down this year over last and then even more so from Carnival of Sin...

tommy lee usually brings out the "titty cam". this year he did not, i was a little sad... even though boobies were out anyway. Mars looked great this year and was even walking around... fantastic show, each and every time

I was at one of two shows EVER where Flogging Molly played with the Dropkick Murphys, and when I tell you this was a great show, this was beyond great shows. When DM went into Skinhead on the MBNTA, I could barely hear the band over the crowd.

GWAR also puts on a penominal show, but I have to disagree with The Who. Love the band to death, show was pretty good, but with only two remaining origional members, they just can't touch what they had before Keith Moon kicked the bucket, IMO.

what are you talking about.... Id rather go see Phish, OAR or any other band that focuses on good energy and vibes...

no matter whats going on in my life I can see OAR live and walk away with nothing on my shoulders.

the crowds are always awesome people... you always meet 50 single serving friends... TONS of girls at OAR concerts... plenty of alcohol and pot too haha
