Yay, photography section! I'll eventually get some pics up (always shy about sharing work with strangers at first), but just thought I'd drop by this section. I am excited to see this section on here, makes me happy, as cars and photography are probably two of the "it" things in my life right now.

Let's see... started off shooting with a Nikon D70 (excusing my point and shoot that I had before that), and now I shoot with a D200. Must say I am partial to Nikons, I think I got that early on in life from my dad. I am lazy and don't like to switch lenses, and therefore have figured out that my 18-200 VR lens works quite nice for pretty much everything that I do... macro, cars, urban, landscapes, whatever. I have a little SB-400 speedlight that is alright. It's love hate right now, as it's not tall enough to clear my lens hood. I want to upgrade, but that's some money I don't have. Lucky me, I have access to an Alien Bees studio set up as well, but have yet to try them out, mostly because I don't do any studio stuff... but would love to try them out on a car sometime at night.

And yep, that's about all. I mostly take pictures for my own enjoyment, or for friends. I just got some photos published in a magazine which was cool, so maybe that will lead to more things down the road.

right now it's mostly event coverage stuff, as i haven't had time to really get anything else up yet because of all the shows and meets going on. i work on pictures one by one when i feel the desire.
