Hey leave the little emo kids alone. They feel that there artistic in the ways the express there emotions and there feelings. Not to sound like retarded or anything but I really hate when one group of people pick on another group of people just cause they think there better then them. The fact that we can have all these different groups of people is what makes America what it is. This country thrives off of its diversity. I wish that all the hate could stop but it won't and never will. I swear sometimes in my life I never know when to throw a party or just fukin hang myself. Maybe the only reason I feel so strongly about this is because I was that kid, yes the kid in school yall used to pick on and make fun of was it not only till recently have I seemed to gain somewhat popularity with people and made a lot of friends. I was a freak, a goth, a skater, a prep, a punk and yes even an emo kid. Lately I've been as some would call thug or wiggerish but you know what? I don't care, why? Cause this is how I feel comfortable dressing and being. I think thats the part thats forgotten all the time is why would someone dress and act the way they do its because thats how they feel comfortable. I'm sticking up for all the groups of people, why? Because I've been there and done em all and know how it is to be them. Emo kids stop crying you claim to be alone but yet look how many people are out there just like you so get over it. Cops need to just let the skaters skate as long as there not bothering people let em be. Preps put ur popularity to a good cause god damn I know you guys aren't heartless as people think or say. Freaks I gotta say are a tight group that stick by one and other and fight forwhat they believe in same thing with punks and these two groups actually seem to get along real good. Plus about 90% of them believe in Juggalo Family which is why they are so close, hate it or not you gotta admit the Juggalo Family is a magical thing. So next time yall go hatin on someone just stop and think for a second aite?

Theres a flip side to that, groups have disliked other groups since the first people popped onto the Earth. Shat happens or as an Italian soldier said to me the other day "Poop on a stick, eh Americano". Not sure what it means but i'm gonna assume it means shat happens.

I know there is a flip side to that I thought I mentioned it but guess not. Yes groups do dislike other groups and groups will always dislike other groups nothing can change it. However that does not mean we make fun of them and put them down like there nothing. What about any person on hear that could be an emo kid and feals offended by that? Ok about this whole emo thing someone asked me if i was emo once and i just looked at the kid with a blank look those who know me i would have to agree i am pretty far form emo. I hate this name thing tho... what are you "i am emo" or "i am goth" maybe people wouldn't single you out if you didn't put yourself into such a group like that. Whatever i think some of these younger kids are so confused. They all just need to do some drugs drink with the cool kid and they will be fine.(that last part was totally sarcastic... KIND OF!)

I think that if someone wants to label thereselves something then go ahead however don't take it insanely far. However naming someone else is not cool. People label themselves to make them feel like there part of a group and a part of something cause I'm sure a lot of people if they did't have some kind of comfort like that would probably end up just killing themselves

Even the Goths were PC enough to know dressing Goth after the school shootings was a bad idea. So they changed and adapted.

Yeah i agree i mean if you don't like your life great but like is there a reason you need to make it public. I work in a mall and on fridays which we have deemed freak show fridays you should see this ****. Like the guys are i don't even wanna talk about it i am a young perosn(20) and some of this crap even makes me confused. Ok i will give you a example the other day i was going to get food and i saw two people has a couple of chains that joined them together like are you kidding me i just stood there perplexed. What is that expressing your self no that is dumb. I wanted to walk between them fall over the chain and sue the parents a for having stupid kids and b for not smacking them for chining themselves together.

HA HA HA HA HA! We are humans, it is in our blood to hate others. Some people pretend to love everyone but they are just blind. Perfect example is hippies, if you are one the 60s are over... let it go, but they claim to be all about love and peace. However, you know they hate George W and most other republicans because we dont feel like supporting their stonner asses the rest of their lives while they go around and bitch how bad this country is.

AS far as the emo culture goes, they have always been there, they have just recently got a name. There always people in high school who you could just tell were depressed and just wanted to go write a hiku. It has just done what every fad does, someone likes the style so they take it as their own and then it becomes popular culture. It happenes to everything, back in the day when i was hardcore into skateboarding it was only those who skated who dressed like it. Now dudes with popped collars are walkin around with skate shoes on. I find it funny though, all of these kids are trying so hard to be different yet it has gotten to the point where you cant go anywhere without seeing one or a group of them. They have become the norm, they just havent figured it out yet.

I love how i always get **** for how i dress.. because i guess you can say i dress kinda thugish?? the white tee.. baggy pants.. I get **** from my dad how i want to be black because of the clothes i wear... he tells me to shop at kmart instead?? Kids in school say stuff all the time and crack jokes about it callin me gangster or ask why i dress like i do. But i noticed i never get asked why i act like i act.. cuz i dont act black... ok im glad we are all talking about this. but i can see that this thread may get a little crazy. So lets all be mature about what we say while still expressing our opinions.

I think the whole EMO or SCENE sterotype is a joke. People (not everyone) make it out to be that anyone who wears tight shirts, tight jeans, and skater shoes are crying kids who hate the world. I wear all of the above but I dont hate the world, nor do i cry about it. I personally just like the way that type of clothes looks and feels on me.

just wanted to add that alot of this is stupid bull****... some of these comments are completly childish and flat out stupid... i personally cant stand when idiots say "oh he's a skater, cause he is dressed like so and so" i skated for years. i wore polo and etc...i cant stand when i hear "that person is a freak" cause they have blue hair or green hair and wear black..they arent a freak they are like a million other kids doing the same ****.. and as far as "emo" goes, its a classification of music, not a group of people... someone is not emo, someone may listen to "emo".. i say all this **** cause i work in a environment where i sell **** to cator to all of these "groups" i see all this **** everyday and its annoying to me to hear people constantly say stupid **** like this....

Also, just because of the way I look, I get stereotyped that I'm on drugs and the like.
