Claritin OTC?

Does anyone take Claritin OTC?

This has to be the worst allergy season I have experienced.

What have you experiences been with it? I might grab a box of it on the way to work tomorrow.

I think the OTC doesn't have decongestant in it, but my eyes aren't burning anymore.

Claritin is o.k., I used it for a summer and it helped a little but didn't alleviate all the symptoms. (I have REALLY bad early season allergies) Allegra is stronger and will get rid of all symptoms, but is prescription only. Benadryl is probably the best OTC you're gonna get, but it has the awesome drowsiness to go along. If this is your first time using allergy drugs, i think claritin will b fine. You won't feel it the day you take it, but after taking it for like 3-4 mornings, you'll feel a lot better.

I do! The thing with Claritin is that you have to take it for a week or so before it starts working 100%. So if you start on it and dont see a difference right away, wait a little and you will notice it working. I had to take another allergy med. yesterday b/c it was so bad. But, its worked pretty well for me...and I have horrible allergies.

I take benadryl and it works amazing. The one I am taking is a non-drowsy one so it is good to take during the day.

I bought some this morning, and for the first time taking it, I did notice a difference.

I really think I need something with a decongestant, since that hit me on the ride home.

Last spring was the worst one I've ever been through, though I took a quick ride downtown today and my eyes wouldn't stop itching or tearing up.

I take claritin pretty much everday in the spring and summer, i just take my pill at night before i go to sleep and wake up allergy free, since mornings are the worse part of my allergy day
