:: Photoshoot down by the tracks... ::

I waxed the car up for a car show today. (Spray wax is about all this thing ever sees.) Anyway, afterwards I went to pretty cool spot to snap some new pics while the car was clean. Here are a few that I am done with. I will post more later. As always, comments are welcome.

Happened to catch one as a train was passing. I wish I had known it was coming, I would have actually set up for a cool shot. Oh well.

Here is what I would really like to have by the end of summer:

powder coated gunmetal wheels
MA Shaw GTR hood painted Granite Silver with black vents
black roof
black mirrors
M moldings

I think that would make the car complete for me... I think it looks incredible. Your thoughts?

Why the 325is badge on the trunk? Or does the 8 just look like a 5? Not a big fan of that hood you want. Other than that, looks nice. I'm looking for an E36 my self.

Get one, I love mine. Sorry for the confusion. The car was originally a 325is, hence the badge. I swapped in a 2.8L motor making it a 328is.

But I am sure the exhaust is angled for back pressure to have a faster spool-up for larger size turbochargers @ low RPM

at first i thought your car was an old friend of mines. He had an M3 in a similar color with kosei k1's on it, and a supercharger. Nice car though, whats the difference in the motor that you swapped in? other then the .3L

Well unless he had it painted it wasnt this color. The M3's never came in Granite Silver, only a much lighter shade called Arctic which is just like any other silver. As for the motor differences, not much. The 2.8 (M52) has a bit more low end torque than the 2.5 (M50). The torque advantage is almost negligible but the M52 also tends to respond better to cams and bolt ons.
