Where to buy quality gear oil!!

I drive a 240sx and need to change my trans gear oil, when i did my swap i put some cheap stuff in the trans and it really doesnt shift that good and its about time i change it. On some other forums 240 guys are recommending stuff like redline, amsoil, torco, motul and royal purple all gl-4 75-90 but i cant find it anywhere around DelCo.
I tried AutoZone in Clifton and Advance Auto in Collingdale, do you think pepboys would have any of those? or anywhere else in the area?
If you guys dont know where to get any of these then what good stuff are you guys running and where do u get it?

Thanks for your help

amsoil is the only thing I would ever put in my trans. You can order it from their site and it will get there within a day or so.

You want the BEST? Visit www.bakerprecision.com and pick up some NEO SYNTHETIC RHD racing heavy duty..It's the best gear oil I have ever bought and I have bought them all. lil pricey though

I used to say Royal Purple but when I had my trans rebuilt before they looked at it they told me my seals would be really soft because of Royal Purple. When they cracked it open they were and they all had to be replaced. Might be a Subaru thing but I'm not taking any chances, I won't use it at all anymore. I'd have to double check but I think I am using Redline Shockproof now, fun thing about it is it's blue and if you get it on your hands you can claim to have killed a smurf.

FWIW, i'm using redline MT90, and it is good. i used to have the RP stuff, but it made my LSD make too much noise. I know i could have added friction modifiers, but then i hear my syncros would not like that. so i swapped it out for MT90, and my heel-toe (actually ball edge) downshifts are a lot quicker and more precise. I bought the MT90 at a local speed shop in hamilton NJ (Meyers?).

Im using RP in the MSP but in the colder weather it seemed like the trans needed to warm up a little before it would shift...but after the warm up (like 2-3min) or during normal temps out it shifter amazingly...I have a also heard good things about redline thats what I'll be trying next...in the Hondas I'll be use Honda MTF don't know if nissan has anything comparable but seems to be the best for them...

I am also running Redline MT90 and love it. It smoothed out my synchros and it is heavy duty. If you don't need a heavy the just MTL it is a little more forgiving to the synchros. I get mine from Extremepsi and streettunedmotorsports.
