The help Ash diagnose her car thread (still +1 for CBRD)

Most important things first: i am at 218 hp, 218 tq.
w000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000t
Great day, Chad Block is a stand up guy who knows his ish with UTECs, as far as i have heard and can tell. He really spent a lot of time with my car- i'd say he did at least 20 pulls, plus street tuning, and only charged me for an hour. I am thrilled at the gains and would recommend him to anyone. Only downside to us local peeps is that he is out in York, PA, but to me it's worth the drive for the peace of mind that it's done RIGHT.
woowoo!
TRACK TUESDAY! ::crossing fingers for good weather::

feels great- i def notice the difference in the ol'butt dyno, esp that the power is smoothed out thru the curve- when the utec kicks in there isn't as much of a bucking feeling- very nice!

troll- it was on a mustang dyno. not sure about the ecutek, but you can pm him on nasioc - he's on there as 'CBRD'.

Nice numbers Ash. I hate it that your car is faster than mine.

yeah, you're really making me rethink (again) my whole engine management situation... i am horribly indecisive and those numbers you just posted are not helping at all! do you know what boost you're hitting or what AFR he tuned you for?

i think, please don't quote me cuz i saw a lot of numbers yesterday, but i think a/f was 14.8 ish???
he kept saying i was spiking at 17 but holding at 13 for boost, but i hit 18 in 5th on my way home...
if i can sway you any, bryan, i'd go with chad. he's a stand up guy who knows his stuff. sure, utec's have drawbacks, but he knows his way around them it sounds like. i blew a coil pack on the dyno (SUCKED) due in large part to txs's stock maps, but he knew how to fix that. plus it's a lasting relationship for other mods, and pricing is VERY fair. he will have a dyno day coming up soon from the sound of it, so you might just want to take a trip up and chat with/observe him and see what you think.
;)

thanks... they're calling for possible thunderstorms so we shall see - even if not the humidity is going to be high tomorrow... bummer but that just means that my numbers will be conservative if i do get to run and that i probably will have more in it!
