Has any ever lost there license?

Not even an excuse, ive always got caught under 20mph, this was 19mph, it was my highest yet. I gotta stop buying red cars

got mine suspended when i was younger and lived in washington. they took me to the police department in tacoma, the cop that stopped me never gave my license back ( i hear some states just punch them and give it back ) towed my car and called my grandpa to come pick me up ( he was a LEO at the time with that department )

yea, i hear different things. Some say the cop will tell you that you have to go to a mandatory meeting.

Cause this is my 2nd time to 6 points, but im not exactly sure im at 6, cause i cant remember if i lost any.

you lose 3 points a year and no they dont tell you your gonna lose your license. i would fight the ticket and ask for no points.

See like over a year ago, I took a test cause I had 6 points, so it took 2 off, and I know its been a year since my one ticket where I only was 5 MPH over. So who knows. If waiting til friday, if I get a letter, ill fight the ticket, if not, ill just pay it friday, and go on with my life.

my brother lost his license when he got 11 or 12 pts in 2months, (one for excessive speeding, and the other for driving recklessly), he had to send his license via mail to PennDot, and they sent it back 90days later

Personally i have no clue how it works i never got a point on my license before...*knock on wood*

WHAT? its 3 points a year, if you hit 12 points you DL is gone. after 6 points you must take the driving test.

My license was suspended for 6 months (WRONGfully might I add!! no, really) apparently, and 3 months in to the suspension that I didn't know about I was pulled over.

The cop notified me that my license was suspended and to either get it taken care of, or stop driving. You're supposed to send your license in or something though when it's suspended, and being that I still had mine, perhaps that's why I got the reaction that I did (which wasn't much of a reaction at all, and he let me off going 9mph over the limit ).

I can't answer the letter part, since I never got one though. But if you do have serious problems, call your state representatives office and have them deal with PennDot.

I got my license suspended 2 years ago for going 102 in a 65 the cop never mentioned anything about it. I fought the ticket and the cop wouldn't reduce I didn't get a letter in the mail until after I went to court saying I had to go to penndot for a departmental hearing or something, and there a guy decides if your license should get suspended or not. After the hearing I had like 4 months to send my license in and it was only for 15 days. Oh and you lose 3 points a year because I got a letter in the mail a year after I got my license back saying I had lost 3 points off my license and that I was down to 2

if you read it you would see that you will receive in the mail a letter telling you when suspension begins and what not and since its govt mail it will be there 2-6weeks "If a driver's license is to be suspended, a written notice will be mailed to the driver listing the date when the suspension will begin."
