Filed a dispute... i'm insane!

So i'm reviewing my annual credit report and i've been wondering why i couldn't get anything financed, a mortgage, a new car. and i come to see that i was in Serious Delinquency... but the thing is it was from my school loans.

Alright, so. I graduated 12/8/2006 and i get a 6 month deferment so that meanssssss i owe it back 6/x/2007... my records show my first payment 6/26/2007, i'm right on the money right? wrong they said i owed it since March 2007 and i'm 150 days past due...

i called, i argued like crazy, they sent out an investigation, i filed a dispute, i than faxed my diploma, my credit report, a written document saying what i'm complaining about, and my payment history showing 6/26/2007 as my first payment.

i can't wait to hear that they were wrong. i swear i'ma curse them out!

also, i figured out why they got confused. i took a 6week leave and i retook one class so that pushed my graduation date from September to December. which is why they got confused thinking i graduated in September and they started billing me in March. thats why i faxed them my diploma.

oh i def won man, i just need it off my credit report. thats crazy, how they gonna come up to me with no late notices and damage my credit because they have inaccurate information that i now sent them to get things straight. all paper show that i'm right, i'm right on the money.

i dont think thats it, but i'll be waiting for your update. I graduated in 2002, like you said with the 6 month defer period. I have payed every single payment on time over the past several years. I had credit run for something and it also came up in delinquency. I was never ever late. I thought it had to do something with the length/terms of the loan becuase even showing "delinquency", my score wasnt horrible. It wasnt great becuase i still have loans open for 2 school loans and a car payment, but it wasnt a horrible score like "delinquency" would jusitfy.

I'm curious to see what you get in return.

i already have it planned out, ima say. Since you instantly put it on my credit report you better get rid of it instantly.

this pain and suffering is not letting me progress in life. i can't even get a mortgage. uggh!

its not up to the bank to take it off his credit report its up to the credit bureau...and it can be taken off instantly.

yeah but the problem is in writing they state up to 60 days to fix....

thats better than years. but since its not something that i did wrong and i'm correcting, i'm right and it should have never happened.

if they say that 60 day ****, i'ma tell them straight up from the door that it needs to be done instantly.

On my loans, you need to be a full time student, which is defined as taking 12 credits at my school. If I were to take just one class next semester, as far as loan companies are concerned I'd have to start paying 6 months from when I stopped taking four or more, graduation date be damned. If that's your situation, you might not have 'won' as surely as you think. Did you rule that out already?

UPDATE

so i called them today. I wanted to make sure they were investigating and doing there jobs.

Here i'm told, i was right, i should have never been negative on my loan, i was supposed to start my payback in june (showed them proof that i did pay my first payment in june) and that they are sending a retraction to the credit beauru on loan 1.

they told me they will contact me when its all set and done. via phone or mail, i just want this all fixed.

i wanna refinance my car and do so much stuff. crazy.
