Oct 1st ~ High Performance Driving Instruction

For those that are interested in more then straight line driving, I just wanted to post up that me and some other "tuners" are attending a "real" track day at Pocono Raceway on October 1st with our SRT-4s. We are attending the Performance Drivers Association's novice high performance driving course. This is a good way to begin to experience how your car behaves closer to the limits and is a great experience for teaching you to be a better driver out on the streets. This experience is a blast.. you come back in after your session with a rush and just itching to get back out there! :2thumbsup

For more information visit www.pdadrivingschool.com
The cost is $245.00 for a full day of "in car" and classroom instruction using YOUR vehicle. You will have PLENTY of track time and when your not on the track you have the opportunity to learn more by attending instruction class before your next session behind the wheel.
Folks.. put your money where your mouth is and put all those mods to good use.. Register and pay then post ups some "Im registered" info.

Below is a photo of the course which is again, great for beginners and also a photo of me running it last year in my Cooper S..

If you have any questions, I will do my best to help with the answers. :thumbupsq

Thanks and hope to see some TST registrants.. Bring whatever you want to drive as long as it passes tech inspection..

Craig

When you say tech inspection, what does this require? I know my m3 will not pass state inspection. Is there a chance it will pass this tech inspection? The only reason it wont pass state is because it is not the same motor as stock.

Brakes suspension etc.. nobody is going to hang you on an engine switch.. There may be more on the tech inspection on the web site but not sure.. I always pass..

Well, its a sooner the better situation. When they fill up, registration is finished. How fast this specific class is filling, I am not sure.

Read the PDA website given to you above (post#1) and you will find tech inspection sheet linked in the lower left hand corner-in red and bold font:

http://www.pdadrivingschool.com/regi...hInspSheet.pdf

From here you can determine whether or not the remainder of your car meets the minimum acceptable requirements and perhaps find a mechanic prior to the event for an inspection.

Good luck!

I'll be there. The car may or may not be suitable by Oct 1st but I am at just about every PDA day anyway.

Dude.. thats not even cool. Do you have no online manners.

I put up an event to try and get people to join in together and do something and you post this up. Thats just plain rude.

Does not make it ok.. If I am trying to get a group of people together for one specific event, its not cool to announce a different event on the same thread. Its like putting together a party and someone coming in and saying hey.. theres a party over here.

I did not give you the wave by if you get my drift...

Nothing personal and I respect your level of driving skill and your enthusiasm regarding getting people to attend these types of events but its still not the topic at hand which is a specific date.
