not to really bust balls or anything but how come cops or state troopers can drive around with tint on their personal cars but they bust our balls about it when we dont do anything wrong? i know safety is a reason but why can they get away with something illegal then? im not really trying to bust balls i just would really like to know. thanks sarge.

i forgot to also add in there the unmarked/undercover cars.

On the unmarked and undercover vehicles its on there so they can do surveillance without being seen. as for personal cars I know of no officer in my police department that has improper tinting on a personal car.
