so our corolla is getting finished up soon (thanks to JDMwill) and the wheels just came in today. We need some good tires to get started drifting this bitch.

we are looking at rt-615s or T/A KDWs... ive personally had the 615s and loved them but i wanna get some input as to what you guys have used and love/hate...

ive also been reading about the nitto nt01-r.... keep in mind, the wheels are 15x8 with a zero offset we have greddy coilovers also....

At your power level starting out your not going to want something too sticky all the way around. To start out you may want to get a good front tire as a list below and a medium grip tire for the rear to get the feel of how the car gets sideways. It will allow the car to get sideways easier. After you improve you would step up to using all the same tires to carry more speed and angle in the turns. Also A standard corolla size is 195/50/15. This will be a small stretch. The RT 615 come in a 205/50/15 which is a bit taller & wider. They will work.

A Drift tire that is good is Federal 595 which do come in a 195/50/15.

Maxxis Tires also have MA-Z1 Victra in a 195/50/15 which are good.

News from Chris Forsberg is that they are amazing. They are a few choices. If you need help locating them let me know.

thanks! i loved the 615 i had on my DSM, but that was AWD and a totally different car haha.

I added too my post there are other options as well. We are working on a sponsor deal for the Clubloose now so hopefully everyone who is in it will get tires to drift on real cheap.
