anyone ever have a swollen uvula?
got drunk last night (shouldn't be a surprise) and i woke up and my throat was dry- i drank water but it felt like something was stuck in my throat. the dangling thing is so swollen its sitting on the back of my tongue!! i read it can happen and will go away it i just keep drinking water

From what I've been told and have experienced, its from dehydration.

I had the exact same thing... its called Uvulitis. It feels so wierd. I went the hospital early in the morning cause it was on a sunday. They gave me a shot and it went away in a few hours. Good luck man.

Benadryl & fluids.
The uvula doesn't swell, the fascia attaching it to your upper pallate is dehydrated and shrinks. EDIT: Should only happen after boozing and falling asleep (passing out) with your mouth open lol

Has happened to me a few times..... always after drinking like an idiot the night before. Got better after a ton of water and advil.
