About a year ago I threw my girlfriends diamond ring across a street into a grass lot, I was real heated, but I'm about 80% sure if i had a metal detector I could find it, well it turns out were still together, and before i buy her a new one for her birthday, I wanted to try and Get the original, because that would mean much more to her, and save me $300. If anyone has a metal detector i could borrow or rent, or some combination of the two i would really appreciate it, I would only need it for maybe 2 hours, I have some random things for collateral/ trade or whatever, but let me know thanks -joe

I didn't throw it in my front yard?

She threw the ring at me, pretending she didn't want it anymore, so I let her know she did want it...by throwing it across the street, I'm just not gonna buy one and hope to find it. I'm sure it didnt go anywhere, even after grass cutting and rain and snow, I'm sure its still wherever it landed, unless someone found it. The lot of grass i threw towards is only like 20 square feet, its no big with the detectors help.

its not in my front yard, and ive looked for it, several times, but i threw it about 40 feet, so its a general area.

Okay, here it goes, to put it in perspective. I was walking away from her, while we were fighting over some stupid ****, she thought i cheated on her, and i didnt. As i turned around to leave she told me she had cheated on me the night before, and asked how it felt, while throwing the ring i bought for her b-day at my back, i turned around, and wanted to kill someone, but instead decided to throw her ring across the street, It happened it about 10 seconds, then i left. I'm sure i could find it, but i don't know anyone with a metal detector, I've asked a lot of friends.

Go buy the top of the line detector from your local radio shack.

Step 2:
Pray no one found the ring.

Step 3:
Find Ring.

Step 4:
Give ring to the GF.

Step 5:

Step 6:
Get Pu$$y

Step 7:
Return the Metal detector and say it doesnt find $hit. Then you don't have to pay for a rental fee. Duh!

LOL I thought about buying and returning a detector, but theyre like $100, and thats a headache to return and stuff, it would literally take me 10 minutes to scan the whole grass lot. and if i find it, i'll post pics

^ Dude, its like $300 for the one that will actually find it. They wont give you any trouble. Just tell them that you bought it to find a ring and that you scanned the yard 3 times and you didnt find a single thing. Then you tested it on a quarter and it didn't work.

Trust me, I did the same thing with a police scanner when I did a midnight run scavenger hunt in philly

I don't have $300, its not underground, just under grass. I'm pretty sure the simplest one would pick it up, i would make it work regardless.
