Cool Jobs?

Tell me about nice paying jobs that people love and are passionate about. I have a degree in Business Management from West Chester (now accredited) and am going to look for another job. I am into telecom and photography, oh and cars....let me know if you have any ideas for me. I wouldn't mind traveling a little.

TIA

-Tanner

That is every company though.

You need to think about what you are passionate about, not what others are. I am going through the same thing right now. I could not stand the job i had, so I quit and I am working for my dad painting. It is not the most glamerous or the highest paying, but it beats the hell out of sitting in front of a comp all day getting **** on by clients over meaningless marketing programs for minimal pay and no chance of advancement. I am now going to work towards my MBA so I can get a job with Boeing or another defense contractor and also get my pilots license. If anyone works for a defense contractor and knows of a position open for someone with a Business degree let me know!

Think about what excites you, what you could stand doing all day everyday and then see what jobs that correlates with.

I graduated with a degree in Business Management from IUP in May of 07 and now I'm selling Subies. Not a bad job, but definitely not what I want to do for the rest of my life. It's just fun now and it pays the bills.

So far My favorite job has been this new job selling cars for mazda. You gotta work for your money you know commission and all but if you love cars its a cake job. When I'm not trying to sell one i'm testing one or shootin the sh** with the other salesman, and there is potential to move up where you can use that degree for something.

Martial Arts Instructor...and soon to be school owner.

Also advertisement and some digital art and design stuff.

I love it.

Wake up when necessary...make sure I'm at the school before 3:30...boom.

Once it's up...it takes care of itself.

seems like a cool company and I appreciate the suggestion however I think most of those jobs require significant industry experience and engineering degrees.

I'm currently franchised under the American Karate Studios (Amerikick) (www.amerikick.com)

I've come form a TKD and American Kenpo background, as well as Arnis, and Ju-Jitsu.

I love it...hit me up or PM me...

im a supervisor in a mobile home factory. No degree required, just a good work ethic.

there are days when the job is miserable but there are also days when i love it, the hardest part of it is that im the youngest there, and im in charge....earning respect is hard.

i make enough to pay the bills there but on the side im working towards my dream, i flip cars. im hoping that someday i can profit enough to turn it into a decent dealership. the perks are that i drive something different very often, and when i sell it its great to make the new owner happy.

as for advice for you, i think you're gonna have to start somewhere you don't like and work your way up. one of our salesman at eagle river homes has the same degree from shippensburg. right now he isnt making much money and he is basically the office work horse. while he hates it he's okay with it because he knows that the potential for the career path hes on is great, and in time he'll be doing what he wants to be doing in the company.
