Selling a car to someone out of state

I was just wondering, probably going to call the DMV tomorrow anyway, but wanted some info tonight. I'm in PA, and I've got people from Ohio and DC that might buy my car. Just wondered if anyone else has experience doing this and if so, what all they had to do to sell the car.
Thanks

Being the seller from PA you'll have to go to a Notary and have them notarize your signature on the title as well as a affidavit and vehicle release form. Then they can issue a 20-30 day temp tag for the person to drive it home if they wish or they can just tow it home. Once they get to their home state they have so many days to finalize the transfer but you're out of the loop by then. I was a Notary Public for 7 years.

he speaks the truth. i sold my Z to a guy from MI and i jus had to sign the title and he was issued a temp tag. once you have your money and sign the title you're pretty much off the hook.

Sweet.
That's what I got from reading the PA DMV site, but couldn't believe it'd be that easy. Usually there's something there to make it a pain in the ass.
