Another One Goes Boom!!

Well, about 2 weeks ago my gearbox started making some odd sounds. But only in second. I knew I probably chipped a tooth or something. Anyhow tonight I was driving home from work shifted from 1st to 2nd then got on it a little, when I did that there was a small bump in the road, I went over the bump while making power, boom. O well, I guess Im going PPG. Might as well get all my dccd working while Im at it. Now the question in Syncro or Dog..... hummm. Its going to be straight cut regardless.

well at least you know where to get em
are you building a straight up race car or a more all purpose setup? either are probably fine, i'm sure you know your needs and the pros and cons of each as well as anyone else could possibly explain it to you.
i know i'd personally do straight 1-2 and helica 3-4, synchro... it'd hold 450 whp all day long which would do just fine for my current and future needs.
one thing you gotta do while you're in there though... upgrade that front diff!

Awesome. I just didnt want to buy the shift forks because of the cost. 300.00+ But if the price is right. I will be taking it apart again in the future for the LSD.
