Project Spyder

When I bought this car a 1.5 years ago I came to find out it was a flood car and had to fix it to stock to get a clean title then I could add some fun stuff. Im a college student so alot of it was the basics. For anyone who doesnt know the n/a Spyders came with 4g64's and not the regular 420a's or 4G63 (rs and gs regular eclipse motors) So there are next to no performance upgrades. even the downpipe has to be custom made. Here's how it came to be where it is now.

wheels and mirrors were soon replaced and some aftermarket foglights were added

the top was shot so I got a new black one

after that I bought a new 2.5 Vibrant axel-back exhaust and had to make a custom intake since they do not even make them for the n/a spyder

Then I started to like the black on black and decided to VHT my tails and reverse lights (which came out to dark with alot of clear coat). I also bought so gst wheels and got them painted gloss black with a very polished lip. btw aircraft remover on 4 wheels sucks.

Finished result

and I just bought this as a winter project a tonneau cover that are VERY rare to find and plan to do some bondo and fiberglass work then paint. just some mock ups
(my seats look dirty but they arent)

I have a prosport oil gauge Im going to be putting in my cig lighter spot since my oil light is none working and I also need to find some stock gst side skirts since the spyders sisnt come with them.

Thats it for now

Umm or you could put a 4g63 head on it, do a headgasket and arp hardware, a clutch and a big turbo and make 400 with no problem.

I'm with this guy.

Car looks pretty clean so far. Not a big fan of the side mirrors tho. Good luck with the rest!
