*sorry no pics*

i was driving home, parked, and saw a guy on a bike that had brake lights/turn signals, he was riding up a hill and then stopped peddling and kept going ( uphill ) then rode it down a flight of stairs and back up. I didn't see any engine, it just looked like a beefy bicycle but obviously had some kind of motor cause he was cruising up stairs without peddling, wtf was it?

It's an electric bicycle. Similar to this, but the ones I have seen are usually a bit beefier.

A lady I know rides one because she is legally blind, but her job still requires extensive local travel.
