Ugh, not feeling wheels AT ALL. Really think you should at minimum go back to what you had on there before.

I LOVE this car... but I think white is totally a bad color for it. Whats the story behind this car, or this kind of car? I'd say paint it up and decal it up as a race car or something. Or black.... :-)

This is the first car I think I've ever seen you post? I think, not sure, don't really care.

Uhhhh....need to see a rear shot then because your Sportmax don't look anywhere near flush. Also, my wheels are no longer sunk.....I'm running an enormous, fat spacer just like you are (and if you're not your wheels are more sunk than mine because a 9.5 +35 wouldn't be flush on a stock fender 260z much less a widebodied one).

You are just conflicting styles it seems. It's a cool car but the old wheels went SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better with it. I'm not trying to be a dick, it's just a hot car with a lot of work in it.....and it's killed by having knockoff Sportmax wheels.

EDIT: PS. Zipties rule.

Are you saying i have knockoffs of sportmax or that sportmax's are knockoffs?...new spacers on the way 2" in the rear will get them back to being flush. New wheels retracted about 15mm from old wheels w/ the offset...

Came out wrong, I know they are Sportmax. It's just a very cheap wheel (I associate knockoff with cheap because normally cheap wheels are a direct knockoff of something else).

Panas/equip 03's/wantanabes/etc would just go a lot better with the car than a mesh style and that offset. Your car so whatever you like go for it, personally I just think you could have done a lot more for making the look AMAZING for almost the same price.

ya but unfortunately I contacted panasport and they wouldnt sell me a wheel bigger then 16x7. It was the only wheel I was willing to go with other then a newer style mesh. Work equips arent made bigger then 15" and wantabes have too long a wait. So that being said the car isnt anything but a street car I am building to take to meets and cruise around on the weekend. No faking it here....I needed a nice looking wheel that would put the power to the ground (wide enough) for a reasonable price. No upstanding hardcore racing, or JDM fanboy style, just something I could roll around with and be hapy. Wheels and tires were roughly a grand and to get anything else in 4x114.3 would have been upwards of 2k just for wheels. Adapters were considered but it makes the offsets screwy with the JDM manufacturers. So spacers + Sportmax was my best option--- just didnt feel like explaining this at the beginning of the thread. Rather save $$ for the RB under the hood

This thing needs 11J at least in the rear, and 10J in the front.

That **** would be dope, and could be had for under 2k.

Thats not what he means, he specializes in JDM imports and everything your against.

14's would be dope, with that much tire, and the look that ur car has.

He's against them because 14s don't work on a 240, 15s do. They're ****ing golden for ANY Datsun.

Older Datsun bodies were never, ever meant to have anything bigger than 15's. 14's and 15's would be perfect, pushing it but you could do 13's if you wanted.

Ask anyone on hybridz, zcar, or hell even viczcar. Australians fail at wheel and fender fitment and they'll even tell you that's the sizes meant for s30s!!!! Haha, not trying to be a dick but for real, check out what z owners are doing, you'll understand better where we're coming from.
