Well, the V6 is the same one in the Zed, Maxima, and Murano. Good motor. The coupe has a good rear, but I don't like how the they shortened it up. CVT sucks, I'm pretty sure its offered. Not sure if theres an 08 SE-R.

Good looking car, definitely identical design cues with the G35! I like it though.

CVT sucks b/c it's not stick. That's the short answer.

I prefer to be able to control the car. The CVT in the Murano freaks me the hell out..and aren't there issues with adding power? They really can't handle that much, and I presume if a car comes with Xhp, you prolly want stick near to Xhp.

And then to iterate I don't do anything other than stick. But it's a personal preference. As is my dislike of CVT. Considering i've driven one many times over the past 4 years or so, I consider it a seasoned opinion, but an opinion none the less.

CVT is Murano and new Maxima specific. The Altima is to low class to get it. There also wont be an SER model because the new 08's will easily over power and out perform. Also the reason that it looks like a G35 is because it is the same platform.

The salesman at perruzzi said it didnt have it. Either way, the CVT trans is just fine. Who buys an altima for the purpose of upgrading it?

My bad though.

I saw a coupe on the road the other day, it looked hot. Looked like a new 350z

Agreed, I really like the coupe as well. What's your price range? The 2.5s starts around 21K, but with any decent options quickly hits mid 20's. In that price range, there are a LOT of choices for cars.
