GOOD Body Shop

I'm starting to look around for a good body shop in the Delaware County area. The shop needs to be able to do a quality job while keeping the car clean.

My first project will be a new hood that will need to have the gel coat stripped off and several coats of clear applied. At the same time, I will want to hood installed on the car along with a set of aerocatch hood pins.

http://www.deftracing.com/aerocatch_hood_pins/index.htm

If they do a good job with that, I will be looking to have several body panels painted/repaired. There is a guy locally that I use, but he tends to dirt up the inside of the car.

I'm just looking for suggestions, based on experiences that anyone else has had. Right now, this probably will not start until next spring.

Body shops seem to be a dime a dozen, but it seems like none of them are really good. My biggest grip with the current place I have used is the fact that they crap up the interior of the car. My brother had to resort to covering his seats and carpet with trash bags!

Thanks for the tip Buster!

i'll agree with you, there are a ton of shops out there and not many of them do good work. honestly what it is is that most shops go for quantity, not quality. that's why my job exists.. to let you guys know that there are a few of us decent shops out there! haha.

hopefully i don't sound too full of myself here, but we are an honest, down to earth, good shop. we won't let anything leave the parking lot that we wouldn't be proud to show off. we're a direct repair shop for multiple major insurance companies (the law says i can't name them ), and we treat every job like it's going to be inspected by a rep from one of those companies.

also, NO shop should ever leave a mess inside your car. besides just being rude, that's bad business.

within the next day or so i hope to have all the vendor info finished up with TROLL and we should have our own spot in the vendor forum. make sure to swing by there and read about us, i'll have pictures of our shop and some of our work as well.

Thanks Excel! If you don't mind, could you PM me the address to your shop? I just want to see how far your shop is from my house.
