Finally got my clutch pieces all delivered + exhaust pics!

Alright, today UPS finally got the last piece of my clutch assembly to me. It's a fidanza lightweight 11lb flywheel

The other parts dropped off in the last week were an ACT heavy duty pressure plate

and a 6 puck sprung race clutch disc also by act.

I shipped her off this morning to have that installed, it should be done by thursday night or midday friday!

The exhaust has been on the car two weeks now, it's an rsr exhaust magic gt2. It's a VERY straight pipe, makes for an excellent sound. I know that these pipes sound terribly droney on low displacement high rpm engines, but on the turbod 3L they sound enormous (more like the mk4 supra exhausts). This is on a stock downpipe, stock CT-26 turbo, stock catalytic converter. Planning to swap the dp with a divorced dp 3", and the cat with a hi flow (i don't need the police hassling me for having no cat)

Pre-install:

on the car!
*NOTE* this picture is with the silencer IN. Remove that bolt, pull it out and it's a 3" from the cat back. I put the silencer in most of the time to limit the police detection (especially when it goes to shops)

(had to include a frontal shot since she just got waxed)

and of course, a sound clip (NO silencer). It's from a phone's video recorder, as my vid cam has been down (lost the sd card, and im out of tapes, but expect a better quality REAL video when the car is back from the shop)

I stopped by the shop today, because I'm paranoid when it comes to my car, and discussed things with the guys who'll be doing the work. They aren't going to get to it today, but they should have the job done by either late tomorrow night, or at the latest noon friday. I have heard nothing but good reviews from this place, even though the price is steeper than the other quotes I recieved (also from well spoke-of shops), but after towing this was the cheapest route (barely, since towing was a ripoff and a half--2 miles from the tow guys house to mine, 2 miles to the shop from my house, .75 miles back to his house from the shop. under 5 miles for 55 bucks)

I wasnt home when he came, so by the time he called to tell me he was at my house--I was down the road--the car was already lifted BY THE FRONT TIRES--rwd--and moving out. When we got to the shop--I followed, hearing scrapes of the exhaust (doesnt look damaged, but the sound made me want to kill babies). Hopefully he didn't cause damage to the diff or the tranny. R154s are pretty strong, so I'm not terribly worried, but I wasnt happy when I confronted him about it, and he had no idea.

/offtopic rant off

Yeah, the exhaust angle is pretty severe, but it fits the car well in my opinion, compared to similar pipes I've seen without the angle. I like the stock exhaust look alittle better actually, but the sound and power increases cannot be argued with. I can't wait to get the dp and cat flipped and see how she growls

AND the clutch disc doesn't fit the shaft, so I have to get a replacement here asap, s***. I was hoping to get the car back for tomorrow, so I could show it on sunday, but that isn't going to be happening now.
