importgirlie talon any idea?

So me and my gf importgirlie want to go get her talon. Which by the way is sitting at my parents house in a pretty decnet size houseing area. Anyways we went to put gas in it while it was sitting there cause it was to low to run to a gas station. Our plan was to put gas in it and bring it up to our house. Well i put the gas in and i seen something. Its gas leaking out from the hose that goes from the part were u fill it to the gas tank. well there was a big gash in it and the rubber didn't seem like it was beat up. So i climbed under checked it out and seems like somebody did that **** on purpose. Who is it? I have no clue. What do u you guys think. was it on purpose or does that **** just happen. Now my gf (importgirlie) is all sad and wants to kill this one kid we know. she thinks he did it cause he is like that. but no way to prove. well thanks alot.

That kind of reminds me of this one episode of the Dukes of Hazzard, where Boss Hoggs' henchmen cut the fuel line on the General Lee before it had to jump a whole bunch of cars....but i digress.... Does the cut look jagged or is it clean?

i'm just saying that if the gash was at the bottom then maybe all the fuel woudl have leaked out and she would have run out of gas, but thats about it. either way, if there's no way to prove it then what is there really to talk about? so just get a new one and move on.

I think if someone did that on purpose your neighbors (if your parents are friends or know them) would have told them something. Having a stranger just randomly dive under your car, find that hose piece, cut it, then leave, I would assume or logicallly think there would be stains or some indication that gas has leaked out or the line has been cut. Without seeing the picture hard to say, the line could have just rotted and split.

We got the hose off..it was a big chunk like cut out...so it made us think that maybe we could have hit something..but the chances of that hose hitting something is slim to none.

If their smart..they wouldn't say a word. It wasn't just some random stranger. We had a falling out with a friend, who helped us with the car. He's done things before to other peoples car. He's immature like that..and he works on cars. He knows our car..to be honest I didn't have a clue that the gas hose was there..and neither did anyone else..I mean sure if we would have followed the piping and such..sure we'd figure it out.
The car is parked at the top of the neighbor hood..it's been broken into..no big deal..there was nothing important in it. But someone knew what they were doing..and we went to fix it and bring it to our house (it doesn't have inspection or right plates, this is why we don't have it at our place..plus we moved/live like 30 mins away)...
ironic how 1_badimport says they're wouldn't be any brakes..because we drove it..and guess what? the brake lines were cut.
it's easy to say replace it and move on. but when you go to drive YOUR car..and can't stop..that's another story.
