Who still shoots film?

I was looking at a recent thread and saw the shots with one person standing in different spots around their car and someone asked how it was done. So yeah it was photoshop but I had to post up how to do it with film so I thought I might as well see if there was anyone else that still played with film. If so list up what camera(s) your using and maybe a favorite lens. Also is anyone else shooting with HSI film? I need to find someplace that can develop it for me.

For me I shoot with a Minolta x370s (fully manual, only thing it came with was the light meter) and a Minolta Maxxum 50. I don't have anything scanned in right now but when I get some pictures developed from a run I did on Sunday with Honest_Bob and Cizin I will get them in here. As for lenses my workhorse is a 28-100mm, just a basic versatile lens. My baby though is my 500mm with a 2x teleconverter. I love the thing, it has the mount for the second tripod but I haven't gotten around to using it yet.

i still own a film camera and wont ever sell it but honestly its been quite a while since i've used it. i also have all the gear to set up a full darkroom but just not a good space to do it right now.
i had a minolta x700... i loved that thing. i now own a nikon fe2, 24mm f2.8 and 50mm f1.4... thats it. i had the 105mm f2.5 but i sold it when i got a more comprehensive digital setup.

My grandfather still does, and my dad bought a film camera a year ago, despite the fact that i told him that everything is changing to digital and in a few years film will be what casette players are now..he didnt listen, bought it anyway, and hasnt used it once still. But if i take a photography class at bucks, its definately going to be film.

I shoot film still! Definitely not as much as digital, but I have access to the lab at my school so use it a lot during the school year.
I have a Nikon N70 with a 28-105mm and 50mm f1.8. Nothing that special. I also have a few all-manual Minolta bodies and a Pentax with a few long-range lenses. I usually only use the Nikon and one of the Minoltas though.

One of these days I'll scan some of my negatives and post them... some of my better pictures are taken on film.

Yeah I would like to get into digital more. With all of my lenses being for the Minolta though, and only the Alpha that takes them, I am going to wait for them to expand that line so I see some long term support before I invest the money.

Nice shot, I'm assuming no photoshop or did you throw it in with a negative scanner?

I still have my F100 that I dust off every once in a while. I used to shoot a bunch of Velvia 50 (slide film). I haven't done that in a while, and I think there is still a roll in my fridge somewhere. I also used to shoot Reala 100 (C-41 Color).

Here's an example:

Fuji 200 used to be my film of choice when I first got into photography. Mostly be cause I got 6-packs dirt-cheap and the grains was pretty good for night photography.

Example:

I think the same thing quite a bit. We have had the discussion before so I know you know how I feel about the ability to take a bunch of crappy shots and make them look good in Photoshop. That pic of the pigeons with the Eifel tower in the background is hot. Was it that foggy out or did you shot it to look like more then there was.

Bryan and Chris, excellent pics! IMO the set of pictures I've seen posted on here.

Bryan, do you have large copy prints of those first two? It looks like you took some really cool trips way back in college... I've got to do the same. Maybe I'll bring my film stuff with me when I go away next week...
