Youtube isn't working for me but I can only guess that this is yet another anti-bush/anti-war film that pounds the issue of how much security contractors are getting paid.

I'm sure what they fail to mention is the extensive training AND experience that these SELECT men (and women?) get. It's not a normal fresh out of high school soldier, marine or not. It's a soldier with YEARS/DECADES of experience, thousands of extra hours of training, and although putting your life on the line is risky no matter what, these guys know that they are REALLY putting their lives on the line by defending and/or protecting the most valuable assets that are prone to attack. These "security contractors" are a group of the cream of the crop, plus some.

But why would they include all of that? I KNOW I KNOW! Because then it would make sense!

If this is not what the video is about, I apologize for my rant.

Actually I would recommend every watching all 6 parts. It was done very well and very objective. Actually they don't say more than 20 words about American Soldiers for hire. This is mainly about other European firms. I learned a bit also by watching it.

+1 for PotenzaSub
Thanks for sharing!

Lol ItStock. That's not what the video is about.

It's a documentary that follows two different groups of British (or Australian; I can't remember) security contractors on several different kinds of missions. It also goes into the tactics they use on their missions.

The reason I posted this is because there was a thread earlier on private security contractors in Iraq. I noticed that a lot of people didn't really know much about these people and what they did; so I decided to post a doc about them.

Gotcha, like I said, youtube wasn't working. It was a documentary about them and all 50 doc.s about them have been from anti-war propagandists. It's good to hear (if thats exactly what it was doing) that a director is actually showing the importance and significance of these private security firms.

My post was in no way directed towards you! I honestly don't even know how you would have drawn that conclusion after reading your post.

I know you didn't mean it towards me, however, my post seemed way inferior after such a meaningful post as yours lol!
