Hand-me down Schwinn Varsity= Free
2 cans of spray paint and 1 can of clear coat= $12
Bike parts= $160
Riding a 30 year old bike that feels like new= Priceless

It used to be bright red with yellow bar tape. The rims were creaky and covered in rust spots. The cables were frayed and the housing was cracked. It never shifted into the lowest gear. But thats all fixed now.

Are those the original Schwinn wing nuts holding the front wheel on?? I haven't seen those in years. Nice resto!

They're shimano but as far as I know they came with it.
