Non titled car

I just picked up a nissan with no title. original plan was to swap the motor into my other nissan.

this car is a little cleaner and would be less work to get into the shape i want it, but i dont have a title because the lady who owned it never got it from the bank once it was paid off since they went out of business 10 years ago.

whats the possibilty of swaping the dashes and use the title from the one car for the other car? so the matching VIN will be right under where the inspection sticker can go. although the inspection is good until 9/08. would i be able to get it inspected or would they really check the vin etched in on the firewall?
