The "wipeout" thread
Once when I was about ten some friends ghetto rigged a bike ramp and dared me to jump it. I was like no problem, so I see them step back a little and jump and land it no problem. I wanted to go big so I went to the other end of the block and pedaled as hard as I could, I'm talkin speed racer pedaling. SO I'm going and all of a sudden I hit the ramp and nobody told me it was that steep on the other side of the ramp. I basically go straight up in the air almost two stories, no Lie like where the little flags are between the row homes. From that point I don't remember the drop just the fall and it was BAD! No broken bones thank God but my chin hit the handle bars, the fork was bent, the front tire blew, my knee was skinned to bone and my mouth was bleeding. This was some stuntman Sh** gone wrong but I got up and dragged my bike home with all of my alleged friends laughing at me and a bike which I had to explain to my parents how I broke. I wish I could do it again though. Lol

I wish this was on video! I was 13 and an older freinds father had a moped. Well we decided it would be a good idea to ramp it off our launch ramp for skateboards. No one had the nuts to do it so I said WTF i'll do it because I had one mean dirtbike at the time. So I go up the hill about 1/4 mile and flog the hell out of it the whole way down. Well I never hit the ramp my freinds little sister ran out in front of me and I ramped off of her about 5 feet! She was fine but me and the moped weren't so lucky. Road rash on face, arms, legs and a broken finger. We still laugh about it to this day.

when i was 15 i think, me and a buddy decided to go riding (bmx) after it rained one day. we went to our favorite trails and it turned out to be a pretty good day besides all the mud. so we get back to his house and grab the hose to wash down our bikes, i get done mine and i decide to ride it around to dry it off. we had a cheesy jump out front of his house and i go to jump it and my handle grip comes off in mid-air. now instead of throwing it and grabbing my bars again, i just stay like that with the grip in my hand. when i landed, i went into a roll with my bike and was laying there til my buddy came over to untangle me. it sucked but it was funny as hell when you realize what happened

I just got my dirtbike a few years ago it was an old started bike like 86 Rm60. My dad says dont ride it when he isnt home. So what do my neighbor, his lil bro and I do...ride it. Were all taking turns and we sucked at kick starting it and we didnt understand a clutch so we would jump off and hold it up and let someone else jump on. Well I get off and its goin and my neighbors bro jumps on and uses the handle bars and pins the throttle and it got stuck cuz of the new grips (yea we were supposed to let the grips set). Im on one side hes on the other and im trying to hold the bike back (didnt think to grab the clutch) and the bike finally falls i flipped over the bike with a grip in my hand and im limping i had a small scratch on my leg but it just hurt. My neighbors lil bro is like you okay then looks down at his leg and hes like im not ok im not ok he took a huge chunk out of his claf and had to be carried to his moms car to go to the hosp. Then after that my neighbor starts the bike and rides around like nothing happened lol

Oh god, wipeouts. I ride bmx and probably the worst thing in the world(IMO) is when you're riding in a metal or unpainted wood park and halfways up or halfways down a transition your front tire slides out. Another thing i hate is when your forward foot slips off of a pedal and it swings back and smacks you in the shin, so painful. Probably the most annoyingly painful thing that happend was the time i tried to icepick stall a pretty slick rail, and i looped out and smacked my tailbone against teh rail, hurt for weeks.

Also to add to this thread, i could go on for days but a good one was one day my buddies and i were riding back by my house where we had this nice double and step-up set up. The way it is set up you hit the double first and then go into the step-up. So i was going along hit the double no problem came down going into the step-up like i normally do. Well no one told me that they made the jump bigger and made the gap bigger, so next thing i realize im not making the landing front tire just cases into the landing and i just go straight over the handle bars. Needless to say I laid there for a good hour |

![]() That's basically the story. Minus the others watching cuz I'm too lazy to draw them. The flags I'm talkin about are in the picture and they usually go to the other side of the street.

when i was like 12, my neighbor had a trampoline. so me and some friends are trying to do backflips. so i did one and tried to do another. on the second one my friend jumps on so i miss timed it and ended up landing on my back in mid flip. then my knee came down, on my face and broke my nose. that was the last backflip i ever attempted.

You see the window on the second story that's where I was, I'm black and I did that, I'm not the average black dude from the hood. I definitely did live there and I loved it and that wierd ass/tail was my white tee blowin in the wind. The ramp was supposed to look like poop cuz well, we made it. Anything else you don't get? Lol

I umm fell once at football practice and a big guy fell on me and I broke my leg and I rode my bike home. I was in a cast for six months in which I gained a hundred pounds, missed a football season and learned how to play tennis.

I was about 5 or 6, got my first bike. Well.. one day I was pondering what would happen if I stick my foot in the front tire while its spinning. Yah, you can figure out the rest.

Jeez... where to start! lol.
How bout w/ this one....... In about 6th grade me and a friend were playing baseball in his back yard. Instead of pitching from x amount of feet in front of him, we figured It'd be a good idea to lob the ball from the side of the person batting. Well, I lobbed... he swung...and missed... hitting me square in the face. Broken eye socket and a whole lot of blood. I was catching it w/ both hands and just dumping it. Was not a pretty sight. My eye was black, blue, green purple, yellow and probably a few other blends of those. |
