I'd go with the Legacy only because the Supra is played out and the 3000gt is too damn heavy.

cuz the legacy looks really hot with those 17's and in black. i test drove one a couple weeks ago and loved it. although if i do get a supra, its going to get a a t-88 or something a bit more streetable.

I thought so unless you were going for some crazy numbers like most supra's.

Buy the Supra if you want to go reeeeally fast above all else.

Buy the 3KGT if you want a challenge.

Buy the Legacy if you want all year performance.

Buy a Kia, and give me the rest of the money.

Go with the supra unless you need to drive the car all year round. The legacy is a good choice but how fast are you tryign to go?

Mmmm Poopra, that's my vote. They are teh hawtness, you would get so many chicks j/k

I agree with what everyone else has said and whatever upgrades you throw onto the Supra it's still reliable, unlike other cars... I would also suggest maybe looking into the turbo MR2's also, they go for 7-9k used but are also a great platform to upgrade. The RX-7 is a nice car also, but hard to find people to give them up.

Brand new car with warranty > ten year old car of similar price.

Take into account what you will realisticly be doing with the car. They are very dissimilar automobiles. If you plan on racing it non stop, then yeah, the supra is a stout ride. However, if you plan on having a car that is streeet driven 90% of the time, and want to do some fun mods along the way, I really think the Legacy is the better choice. It is certainly a more pimp ride, what with the leather, and actually fitting 5 people.

Honestly, with those warranties ANYTHING you even touch or replace with an upgraded part voids the warranty. IMO, that point you were trying to make is not valid. Newer cars are also more expensive to upgrade, look at how much an STi or even a VW is to upgrade compared to like a 1G DSM or a Civic Hatch. What's the fun of having a nice car that has good potential anyways if you are not going to actually work on it?

if I had the bank roll I'd get a Legacy GT.

The 3kGT is a pig, and when it was new it had some of the most advanced electronic trickery evAr. Trickery breaks, and it's super expensive to fix.

Supra, well.. If I could find a civic or camery to drive everyday and had already ordered a large turbo for it, the choice is obvious. roasting tires in 4th from an 85mph cruise is manditory.

FD RX-7 - Sexiest looking car to ever be shipped to the states. Also holds the worlds record for having the most vacuume hoses ever. I've looked into it, most FD owners spend 1K/year on maitnence. That's if nothing breaks. The 60K mait. is a rebuild. Figure on 1 quart of oil a week + sparkplugs once every three months.

I mean, really If you're thinking of spending that much money and want some awe factor just get yourself a late 80's early 90's 911 Turbo. Besides, when all the seals start leaking around 60K you get to yank the motor

Porsches are the best thing on the road, period.

Yeah, they are.. but well. It is a porsche.

PS, BTW: if you didn't know you can buy brand new cars w/o a warrenty. I know for a fact Dodge sells vipers for like 60K instead of 80K w/o any warrenty. When I breifly looked into an Evo VIII RS I was quoted 20K brand new w/o a warrenty.
